DEVICE FOR INPUTTING AND OUTPUTTING VIDEO SIGNAL OF DIGITAL TV

PURPOSE: A video signal input and output apparatus of a digital TV is provided to connect to the other outer units conveniently, and to enlarge the application range by inputting and outputting video signals from the digital TV to outer units. CONSTITUTION: A video signal input and output device of a digital TV is composed of outer input and output terminals(17,18) connected to outer units to input and output a video signal; a format converter(12) converting video data into the standard format, and outputting luminance and two chrominance signals; a D/A(digital to analog) converter(16) outputting to the outer unit by converting the digital video signal from the format converter to the analog signal; an A/D(analog to digital) converter(19) converting the analog video signal from the outer unit into the digital signal; an OSGM(On Screen Graphic Mixer)(13) outputting an RGB analog video signal by adding additional information to the digital video data from the format converter or the A/D converter; and a CRT(cathode ray tube) driving unit actuated by the OSGM for output on the screen. The application range is enlarged with inputting and outputting the HD(high definition) standard video signal to the outer unit.
