<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing para-dichlorobenzene, by which a reactor can stably be operated as a full size facility to give the objective material in a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the para-dichlorobenzene, comprising chlorinating at least one of benzene and monochlorobenzene as a raw material with chlorine gas, is characterized in that the raw material and the chlorine gas are introduced into a reactor in which a zeolite-containing catalyst is mounted as a fixed bed, and the catalyst is obtained by molding a molding base material containing alumina as a main component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
