PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component little in leakage magnetic flux and improved in DC superimposing characteristic. SOLUTION: In the coil component, the external circumference of side surface of a drum core 1 in which a wire 2 is wound is covered with a resin layer 3 mixing the ferrite powder. The mixing ratio of the ferrite powder in the resin layer 3 is 2 to 20 wt%. Moreover, the average particle diameter of the ferrite powder is ranged from 5 to 100μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
