PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent poor contact in an electric connector using a probe type contact. SOLUTION: This is the electric connector which comprises a housing 11 having at least one through hole 13a-13c, a probe type contact 20a-20c inserted into this through hole, and a terminal part 30a-30c connected to this probe type contact, and of which in the probe type contact, a pin shape contact 22a-22c is housed in free movement inside a conductive cylindrical body 21a-21c energized by a spring 23a. The pin shape contact 22a-22c at the top end is fitted to the through hole 13a-13c inclined upward by a prescribed angle against the horizontal direction and protruding from the front wall face of the above housing.
