PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clock with a calendar display functions, capable of reducing power consumption at the time of driving calendar, and enhancing the durability of a sensor for detecting the calendar. SOLUTION: When a piezoelectric actuator 71 is driven, and a piezoelectric rotor 72 is rotated and driven, a spring switch detects the driving amount of the piezoelectric rotor 72 to stop the drive of the piezoelectric actuator 71. A photo reflector is used for day detection performed by using a gear having many detection patterns and small moderating ratio to the piezoelectric rotor 72, and the spring switch is used for the detection of month and detection of year.
