PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter unit for water service capable of preventing surely reverse connection of a meter for the water service or wrong mounting thereof caused by being tilted or rotated, showing sufficiently metering function of the meter for the water service even in a cold district or in the winter season, and connecting the meter for the water service having an eccentric connection part to a metering part. SOLUTION: This meter unit for the water service is provided with the first support mechanism 2 and the second support mechanism 3 for mounting the first connection part 51 and the second connection part 52 of the meter 50 for the water service on both sides of a substrate 4 having a configuration of a base shape, a frame shape or the like. In the meter unit, a regulating member 10 is erected on the substrate 4, and the upper end 10a of the regulating member 10 is positioned lower than circumferential under surfaces 51a, 52a of the first and second connection part 51, 52 of the meter 50 for the water service, and disposed on the position where the upper end 10a is engaged with the side face 55 of a rib 54 in the passage direction formed on the under surface 53 of the meter 50 for the water service.
