PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skew gear, having high wear resistance. SOLUTION: This skew gear is composed of two gears having rotating shafts different in stagger angle and meshing with each other. One tooth flank of the skew gear is formed so that at a contact point Q of the tooth flank 1, the relative curvatureκ<SB>T</SB>in the vertical direction of a line of contact as a locus of the contact point Q is the minimum. The skew gear is suitably used for an electronic device such as a disk loading mechanism of a disk recording and reproducing device using disks such as DVD or CD, and a display panel discharge/insert mechanism of an on-vehicle electronic device for discharging a display panel and adjusting the angle in every use.
