PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge pump system DC-DC converter circuit capable of reducing a rush current or a peak current, if a current for charging is made to flow, when the boosting capacitor or the output capacitor is not fully charged, while holding a conventional control method. SOLUTION: The charge pump system DC/DC converter circuit 1 is provided with a monitoring circuit for detecting the potential difference between the both ends of any one of the first semiconductor switches which turn on for a first period, and outputting a first decision signal, based on the potential difference; and a drive circuit for outputting a drive signal which increases the on-state resistance of at least one or all of the first semiconductor switches, which turn on during the first period, in proportion to the detected potential difference, based on the first decision signal to the semiconductor switches.
