PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type electrolytic capacitor which is free of dry-up and assuring superior frequency characteristics, loss characteristics, voltage resistance characteristics and leakage current characteristics. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises an anode foil, formed of a valve metal covered at its surface with a oxidized film of dielectric material, a cathode foil formed of a metal, and an electrolyte provided between the cathode foil and the anode foil. In this electrolytic capacitor, drying-up due to evaporation of solvent is prevented, by forming the electrolyte with at least an ionized liquid and a conductive polymer, and dissolving a part of the electrolyte to the conductive polymer; and superior voltage resistance characteristics can be realized, by preventing leak current and short-circuit with very superior forming characteristic. Moreover, superior frequency characteristics and loss characteristics can be realized through turning the impedance low by the existence of a conductive polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
