A tool for managing an instant messenger is provided to naturally improve entire user attention and usability of a pocket window by displaying user selection information in addition to banner AD(ADvertisement) to the pocket window. A messenger managing module(11) is installed to a user client(1) connecting to a messaging management server(100), and generally controls a messenger transceiving procedure by selective link between an OS(Operating System)(2) and the messaging management server. A frame window managing module(14) selectively generates, displays, and controls a deck window(DW) for transceiving a message and the pocket window(PW) for displaying the banner AD while communicating with the OS. A user selection information managing module(20) selects the user selection information requested from a user, manages and displays the selected information to a part of the pocket window by linking with the messaging management server while communicating with the OS and the frame window managing module.
