A magnetic element is provided to mount a plurality of magnetic elements by a large-scale with respect to a mounting substrate by reducing an arrangement area of the magnetic element on the mounting substrate. In a magnetic element, first and second cores(2,3) include external angle portions(2b,3b) and middle angle portions(2c,3c), which are inserted into a coil(6), on flat portions(2a,3a). A middle core(4) placed between the first and second cores(2,3) forms a closed magnetism path circuit which is arranged in the vicinity of the first and second cores(2,3). A condition of S1<=S3 and S1<=S2 is set, wherein the S1 is a cross section in a direction of the external angle portion(2b) of the middle angle portion(2c) of the first core(2) to be extended and a vertical direction, the S2 is a cross section in a direction of the external angle portions(2b,3b) of the middle core(4) to be extended and a parallel direction, and the S3 is a cross section in a direction of in a direction of the external angle portion(3b) of the middle angle portion(3c) of the second core(3) to be extended and a vertical direction.
