PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination sliding member which shows a lower coefficient of friction even when used in a dry type friction state in atmospheric air. SOLUTION: The combination sliding member comprises: the first sliding member having an amorphous carbon film formed on the sliding surface; and the second sliding member having a carbon nitride film formed on the sliding surface which slides on the sliding surface of the first sliding member.
