MATERIAL FOR CURABLE SOLVENT-BASED UNDERCOATING, COATING OBTAINED BY USING THE SAME AND COATING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a curable solvent-based undercoating that exhibits excellent chipping resistance and forms a coating film hardly suffering from cracks or the like, a coating obtained by using the same and a coating film. SOLUTION: The material for the curable solvent-based undercoating comprises a lipophilic polyrotaxane that comprises a ring molecule, a linear molecule including the ring molecule and blocking groups arranged at the both ends of the linear molecule, where the linear molecule and the ring molecule bear a hydrophobic modifying group. The amount of the included cyclic molecule is 0.06-0.61. The molecular weight of the linear molecule is 1,000-55,000. The curable solvent-based undercoating is obtained by using the material for the curable solvent-based undercoating. The solvent-based undercoating film is obtained by solidifying the curable solvent-based undercoating. A laminated coating film is obtained by sequentially forming the undercoating film and a topcoating film on an item to be coated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
