HYDRATION RESISTANT CALCIA MATERIAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcia material which has excellent hydration resistance while maintaining the original characteristic properties of calcia by suppressing the amount of additives.

SOLUTION: A calcia dense body is immersed into a solution comprising different kinds of metallic elements (e.g. metal alkoxide or the like) for a short time, is thereafter swiftly dried, and is thereafter heat-treated at a prescribed temperature under a reducing atmosphere so as to form a surface layer in which the different kinds of metallic elements are solid-soluted in the vicinity of the surface of the calcia dense body, thus the hydration resistant calcia material is obtained.
