EVAPORATOR PIPE STRUCTURE OF CENTER MOUNTING TYPE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES

An evaporator pipe structure of a center mounting type air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to improve cooling and heating efficiency as evaporator pipes are not arranged in the inner path of an air conditioning case in order not to disturb the flow of the air flowing along the inner path. A center mounting type vehicle air conditioner is composed of an air conditioner case(10) and an evaporator(60). The air conditioner case is composed of an upper case(20, 30), a lower case(40), and a intake duct(50). The evaporator is installed at the inner path of the air conditioner case and includes an inlet/outlet pipe(62) for introduction and exhaustion of refrigerant. The inlet and outlet pipes are composed of: a bent part(62a) which is curve-cut to one side of the evaporator; and an extension part(62b) extended to an upper part along the external side of one side of the upper case.
