A ship constructing method using a pier on the sea is provided to increase the size of ship being constructed and improve the productivity of dockyard by removing the need of large-capacity crane to move a large size hull block. A ship constructing method using a pier comprises a step of setting up a plurality of piers being connected to the land in order to assemble a plurality of hull blocks on the sea(S10), a step of assembling the hull blocks on the piers in order to complete a hull block or ship(S20), a step of positioning a barge between the piers(S30), a step of floating the barge and supporting the hull block or ship with the barge(S40), and a step of moving the barge in order to transport the hull block or ship(S50).
