<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly information terminal device which is provided with a display part equipped with both a pen character input function and a hand touch input function, prevents an input error of a user, and to provide a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The information terminal device is provided with: a pen input detection part 42a in which a pen input part 41a and a touch input part 41b are integrally formed with a display part 47, and which detects pen input from the pen input part 41a; a touch input detection part 42b for detecting touch input from the touch input part 41b; and an input control unit 44 for performing control so that the pen input detection part 42a may detect pen input, the touch input may be disabled when the pen input detection part 42a detects the touch input and, the touch input may be enabled when no touch input is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
