coating the conductive metal grounding element with a highly water impermeable carbonaceous conductive material forming a physical barrier configured to protect the conductive metal grounding element from corrosion and conduct a grounding current from the conductive metal grounding element to a surrounding grounding medium, the carbonaceous conductive material comprising coke breeze characterized by spherical particles with a pre-coating size range of between 30 to 70 mesh.
