PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorbing device capable of improving energy absorption characteristics steplessly as well as durability, a seat belt retractor, and a seat belt device.SOLUTION: The energy absorbing device includes a base plate 51 connected to a spool 2 and having a waveform groove formed into an annular shape, a cover plate 52 connected to face the base plate 51 and having a waveform groove synchronized with the waveform groove of the base plate 51, a plurality of driving pins 53 having one end inserted into the waveform groove of the base plate 51 and the other end inserted into the waveform groove of the cover plate 52, a plurality of mass bodies 54 arranged at the middle parts of the driving pins 53, and intermediate plates arranged on both sides of the mass body 54 with the driving pins 53 inserted therethrough, and connected to a locking base 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
