PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a method for connecting to a resource on a network and a program which can reduce a work load required by a user for connection confirmation, or the like by showing an IP address suitable to the user's use among a plurality of IP addresses.SOLUTION: When the user inputs a URI to an address input area 301 of an address input screen 300, a DNS 102 is requested for an IP address corresponding to the URI. Although an acquired IP addresses are displayed in an address list display area 305 because a plurality of IP addresses can be acquired in an IPv6 environment, each IP address is used to perform connection confirmation as a display order, and display is performed in a connection speed order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
