PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head having high connection reliability between a wiring board and a piezoelectric actuator substrate, and a recording device using the liquid discharge head.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a flow passage member having a plurality of discharge holes and a plurality of pressurizing chambers 10; a piezoelectric actuator substrate having a pressurizing section; an insulating film 52a laminated on the piezoelectric actuator substrate; and a wiring board 60 which is disposed on an opposite side of the piezoelectric actuator substrate of the film 52a. The wiring board 60 and the pressurizing section are electrically connected via a connection electrode 46 disposed in a first through hole 52aa passing through the film 52a. The piezoelectric actuator substrate and the film 52a are joined to each other around the first through hole 52aa.
