In order to obtain a motor drive control device in which the amount of heat generation can be effectively suppressed and the reactor volume can be reduced, a motor drive control device 20 is provided with: a rectifier 2 connected to a three-phase AC power supply 1 and converting and rectifying AC to DC; a current detection unit 3 provided between the three-phase AC power supply 1 and the rectifier 2 and outputting a detection current value; a first reactor 4 provided at the next-stage of the rectifier 2; a second reactor 5 provided in parallel with the first reactor 4; a relay control unit 11 for comparing the magnitudes of the received detection current value and a set current value and outputting a command signal according to the comparison result; a relay 6 that receives the command signal and performs switching of whether the first reactor 4 and the second reactor 5 are connected in parallel with each other or not; a capacitor 7 for smoothing a voltage rectified by the rectifier 2; an inverter circuit 10 for converting the DC output from the rectifier 2 to AC and outputting the AC to a motor 9; and an inverter control circuit 8 for driving the inverter circuit 10. |
