Provided are an instant messaging method and device, and an electronic device. The method comprises: for a started instant messaging window, detecting whether there is an unanswered communication message; and when there is an unanswered communication message, displaying an answer prompting identifier in a display area associated with the corresponding instant messaging window.By means of the technical solution of the present application, the answer situation of instant messages can be prompted, thus avoiding missing by a user. |
