In one aspect, a method of decoding additional information about long-term evolution unlicensed (LTE-U) communications for enhancing wireless communication performance can include receiving, from a LTE-U device, a first wireless local area network (WLAN) packet reserving a communication medium over a time period. The first WLAN communication includes information about a LTE-U communication. The method further includes decoding, at a wireless device, information about the LTE-U communication. |
