PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which it is possible to make a signal outputted by a timer match with a time at which the cycle and signal outputted by a timer generated by a reference clock change even if a frequency of the clock is changed.SOLUTION: The cycle of a timer is corrected using a ratio of the number of pulses of a reference clock to the number of pulses of a clock inputted when a frequency has changed, and further a correction to make the phases of pulses outputted by the timer match is performed using a difference between the number of pulses of a reference clock and the number of pulses of a clock inputted when a frequency has changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
