PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer molded body which is relatively inexpensive, and has high heat conductivity and electrical insulating properties; and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The elastomer molded body includes a substrate composed of a solid elastomer, and composite particles which are mixed into the substrate and orientated in a manner that they are mutually connected to each other. The composite particles are composed of heat conductive particles made of a nonmagnetic body, and magnetic particles and insulating inorganic particles adhered to surfaces of the heat conductive particles with a binder. The powder of composite particles can be produced by stirring raw powder materials containing the powder of heat conductive particles, the powder of magnetic particles, the powder of insulating inorganic particles and the binder by using a stirring granulator. The elastomer molded body is produced by arranging a mixed material, a mixture of the powder of the composite particles and the elastomer raw material, in a molding die and then applying to the mixed material a magnetic field with an approximately uniform magnetic flux density. |
