A storage device has an internal storage portion with a substantially water impermeable external shell 1. The shell 1 comprises a body 3 and a displaceable lid 2 such that the lid is displaceable from the body to allow a user access to the internal storage portion. The shell has one or more lanyard attachment points (16,17 figure 1b) and the lid and body comprise male and female lock parts 7 & 8 for mutual engagement to lock the shell and prevent unauthorised access to the internal portion. The device is particularly useful as a device for storing and transporting foodstuffs and valuable to the beach. |
