PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular soil conditioner easily producible in a mass and having stable and uniform performance, excellent workability and sustained release performance of nutrient promoting the growth of plant in contrast with conventional natural peat-moss. SOLUTION: The objective soil conditioner is a fibrous structure containing >=30% of biodegradable synthetic fiber containing inorganic glass particles capable of releasing ion and/or water-soluble compound of at least two kinds of elements selected from P, K, Mg, Ca, B, Mn, Mo, Fe, Cu and Zn. The particle has the maximum dimension of <=15 mm and a bulk density of >=0.005 g/cc. |
