The invention concerns a method for bringing general satisfaction, whereof the application enables to prevent a person being inconvenienced by the smell of intestinal gases while using the toilet seat It also concerns an equipment for ventilation from the toilet bowl for implementing said method. The problem of ventilation is solved by suction of the gases from the toilet bowl by means of the inventive gas intake ports wherefrom they are directed outside by a ventilating duct using an electric pump.
