PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which keeps shock absorbing material integral with an outer box, has a low cost and can be easily adapted for a modification of the number of items to be packaged. SOLUTION: This packaging box comprises: a rectangular cylindrical barrel 10 which keeps four side panels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a connecting plate 5 continuously connected in series and one end of the side panel 1 and one end of the connecting plate 5 overlapped and connected to each other; and a bottom part 11. This packaging box comprises: a folding cavity 1a with a part of a ridge 6 between the side panel 1 and the side panel 2 being recessed; a folding cavity 2a with a part of a ridge between the side panel 2 and the side panel 3 being recessed; a folding cavity with a part of a ridge between the side panel 3 and the side panel 4 being recessed; and a folding cavity 4a with a part of a ridge between the side panel 4 and the connecting plate 5 being recessed; a pressor surface (slant surface 2c) with the upper part of the side panel 2 being recessed, and a pressor surface with the upper part of the side panel 4 being recessed.
