PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box wherein its upper face is largely opened, its lid is easily closed even after it is opened once, and the presence of a lid-closing state maintaining means does not spoil the design. SOLUTION: The paper box 1 has a double door of a left lid part 24 and a right lid part 25 on an upper face of a body formed by erecting and pasting a blank sheet 10. Pockets 30 and 31 in which an leading end of the other lid is inserted are formed by flaps 26 and 27 for pockets on back surfaces of the left lid part 24 and the right lid part 25. When overlapping the tips of the left lid part 24 and the right lid part 25 each other, the leading end of either lid part is inserted in the pocket of the other lid part to maintain the lid-closing state.
