PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding implement which enables the operations of binding and extracting sheets to be properly performed by regulating a tilt angle of a binding element while securing a simple structure. SOLUTION: This binding implement 2 comprises: fixed-side and movable-side binding elements 6 and 7 which are formed in a closed loop shape by engaging leading ends with each other; an urging means 5 for urging the binding element 7 in an opening direction; and a tilt regulating means S for regulating the tilt angle of the binding element 7 by abutting on the binding element 7.
