A DVD data structure, an output control apparatus of DVD contents using the same, and a method thereof are provided to control an output state of the image/sound control information by comparing a detected default value with a predetermined control value and controlling the image/sound control information with the predetermined control value. As a DVD is played, an image/sound control information default value recorded in the DVD is detected(S21,S22). The detected value and a predetermined control value are compared to control the image/sound control information with the predetermined control value(S23,S24). A play signal in which the image/sound control information is controlled is output to an output device(S25). The play signal inputted to the output device is controlled by the image/sound control information according to the user input signal(S26,S27).
