<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which defrosting takes a long time because a refrigerant circulating amount is remarkably lowered in an initial stage of defrosting, while a defrosting operation is periodically performed as heating performance is degraded by frosting caused by condensation and freezing of moisture in the air on a surface of fins of an outdoor heat exchanger during a heating operation in an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: The water stored in a water receiving container 21 in the defrosting operation is carried by a water filling pipe 22 by a pump 23, and filled in the outdoor heat exchanger 3, thus the defrosting is performed by latent heat, and the defrosting operation is completed in a short period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
