RESOLVER TO DIGITAL CONVERTER

A resolver to digital converter is provided to correspond to specification of the resolver by automatically grasping the voltage and the frequency of the resolver by measuring a reference signal of the resolver. A resolver to digital converter includes a scaler(120), a waveform shaper(130) and a microprocessor(140). A scaler converts the voltage of a sine signal, a cosine signal, and a reference signal of a resolver(110) into the low voltage. The waveform shaper generates the reference pulse by receiving the reference signal. A microprocessor calculates the angle and the speed by receiving the output signal and the reference pulse of the scaler. The scaler is a transformer or a resistance potentiometer. The waveform shaper includes a zener diode.
