<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that allows customers to make payment as they wish for a split-bill settlement that includes both electronic money and cash. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic-money bill splitting device is provided at each table. After a total sum of money is inputted and the amount of money allotted to each person is calculated, each customer decides whether he pays by electronic money or cash. The customer who chooses to pay by electronic money makes a settlement with electronic money.
