The device has a pipe (30) flowing into a valve region (32) of a combustion chamber (18) of an internal-combustion engine (10). A pump device (22) i.e. bellows pump, is arranged in the pipe for increasing gas pressure in the pipe. The pump device is drivable by an assigned inlet valve (20) of the engine. The pipe is formed as a ventilation pipe (12) for the ventilation of a crank case of the engine. The pipe is provided in connection with an exhaust gas recirculation pipe and/or a suction tract of the internal-combustion engine.
