PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new art with which water-tightness, air-tightness and sound insulation at a connection part between upper and lower slats are surely secured and further improved. SOLUTION: The slats 10A, 10B of a shutter curtain have the structure that the slats 10A, 10B are vertically connected to each other by housing an upper engaging part 11 of the lower slat 10A in a lower engaging part 12 of the upper slat 10B in a manner that the two engaging parts 11, 12 are engaged with each other. A first contact part 21 in which the lower engaging part 12 and the upper engaging part 11 are in contact with each other on the outdoor side and the second contact part 22 in which the lower engaging part 12 and the upper engaging part 11 are in contact with each other on the indoor side are formed at the connection part 20 of the slats.
