PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus recovery facility and a phosphorus recovery method that can recover phosphorus efficiently and obtain dewatered sludge of a low water content to be used as a combustion improver, without increasing equipment cost.SOLUTION: A phosphorus recovery facility 1 includes a sludge receiving unit 2 to receive organic sludge, a mixing unit 5 to add a polymer coagulant to the organic sludge received into the sludge receiving unit 2 and to mix them, a sludge separation unit 6 to separate a liquid from the organic sludge subjected to mixing in the mixing unit 5, a phosphorus recovery unit 10 to recover phosphorus from the liquid separated in the sludge separation unit 6. The phosphorus recovery facility 1 further includes a dewatering unit 7 to add an inorganic coagulant to the thick sludge separated in the sludge separation unit 6 and to dewater the sludge, and a returning mechanism 13 to return a liquid obtained in the dewatering unit 7 to the sludge receiving unit 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
