FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treatment of gnathitic shape of distal occlusion caused by underdeveloped and/or retro-position of the lower jaw in adolescents in the age of active growth of jaws: girls - at the age of 10-14 years old, boys - at the age of 12-16 years. Device for treatment of gnathitic form of distal occlusion in adolescents consists of upper and lower jaw bases. Upper jaw base has a middle cut, starting with a palatal surface between the central fronts; at that, the upper jaw base parts are connected by a screw. Bases for upper and lower jaws have occlusal onlays: in the upper jaw base - on the second premolars and molars, in the lower jaw base - on all the premolars, with inclined planes passing downwards and backwards, parallelly located, made with a possibility to adjoin each other for matching of the bases in the position of structural occlusion. Upper jaw base additionally has a crosscut passing at the level of interdental spaces between the second pre-molars and first molars. In the area of the cuts intersection there is installed an orthodontic three-dimensional Bertoni screw. Lower jaw base has two cuts, passing on the level of canines' crowns and dividing the base into the front and two side sectors coupled between themselves by orthodontic sectoral screws. Additionally, the upper jaw base has a vestibular arch, and the lower jaw base is fixed on the first molars with the help of two Adams clasps and in the front area - of three bulbous-end clasps and comprises braced labial pelotas fixed by holders in its lateral sectors and connected to each other by a clamp.EFFECT: invention enables to optimise growth of an underdeveloped and shifted backward lower jaw, to restrain growth of an upper jaw, to adjust axial position of top fronts with elimination of their protrusion, as well as to distally shift teeth of the side segments of the upper jaw.1 cl, 3 dwg |
