Hyperpolarization Methods, Systems and Compositions

The present invention is directed to hyperpolarization methods, systems and compositions that facilitate magnetic resonance imaging ("MRP") and nuclear magnetic resonance ("NMR") analysis. A method of producing a hyperpolarized material comprising: a) providing a first material selected from the group consisting of (i) a material that is a liquid at standard conditions, (ii) a material that is a non noble gas at standard conditions, and combinations thereof; b) increasing the nuclear hyperpolarization of the first material until the first material becomes hyperpolarized; and c) transferring the nuclear hyperpolarization from the first material to a second material.
