PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling machine that can be flexibly used for different milling processing.SOLUTION: A self-propelled road milling machine 1 to process a road surface 2 has a machine frame 8, a milling drum 12 that is rotatably installed and extends in an axial direction intersecting a direction of movement, and a milling drum housing 10 that covers the milling drum 12. The milling drum 12 has multiple tools that are disposed preferably in a spiral manner in a circumferential direction. The tools mutually form a predetermined line distance except a terminal region in the axial direction. Thus, an oscillation driving source causes an oscillation stroke of the axis of the milling drum 12 so as to reciprocate in the axial direction to the machine frame 8, and a rotation behavior of the tools can overlap a behavior in the axial direction in parallel with the axis of the milling drum 12. The stroke can be adjusted to the line distance between two tools neighboring in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
