PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management system that can maintain a state where a device is properly managed.SOLUTION: A device management system comprises: management state determination means that determines whether an image forming apparatus is properly managed on the basis of information from an application for managing the image forming apparatus; and management state notification means that performs improper management notification indicating that the image forming apparatus is not properly managed to a specific destination.
