A system for enhancing skin renewal is provided, including a first phase having an anhydrous solvent, a hydroxy acid, and urea, and a second phase having a neutralizing agent and optional abrasive. A composition is provided, wherein the first phase includes glycerin, lactic acid, and urea, and wherein the second phase includes a neutralizing agent and optional abrasive. A process of increasing the rate of skin cell renewal in a subject is provided, which includes topically applying systems or compositions of the disclosure, such that dead skin cells are removed and replaced with new corneocytes, thereby increasing the rate of skin cell renewal. |
