A method of transmitting media content for a presentation, the method comprising: encapsulating a file of an ISO/IEC 14496-12 ISO Base Media file format (ISOBMFF) into one or more media units, wherein the file of the ISOBMFF includes the media content; converting the one or more media units into first packets of a delivery format; converting signaling information including composition information for the presentation into second packets of the delivery format; and transmitting the first packets of the delivery format and the second packets of the delivery format, wherein the media content includes a plurality of multi-view components, wherein the composition information includes: start time information representing start time for each of the plurality of multi-view components and representing a change to a configuration of the presentation of the media content, and end time information representing end time for each of the plurality of multi-view components, and wherein at least one of the multi-view components is added during playback of the media content according to the start time information when the multi-view components constituting the presentation is changed.
