SECURE SERVICE REQUEST USING AN APPLICATION GRANTED KEY

Receiving by a target ProSe Function from a requesting ProSe Function a proximity request for a target user equipment, including a first instance of a verification key, a signature derived from the verification key, and a lifetime of the verification key. In response to the proximity request the target ProSe Function directs to a ProSe Application Server a verification request to verify the verification key and disables additional verification requests within a duration of the lifetime.
