PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various curing types of room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane compositions having high thixotropic properties, good appearance and excellent viscosity stability.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition, the method comprising: 1) a step of placing and dispersing a polymer (A) having two or more hydroxyl groups bonded to silicon and an organosilane (B) into a mixer to prepare a blend; 2) a step of adding and dispersing a curing catalyst (C1) to the blend; 3) a step of further adding and dispersing a filler (D) to prepare a base material; 4) a step of adding and dispersing a curing catalyst (C2) to the base material; and 5) a step of adding and dispersing an adhesive promoter until a final product is sufficiently homogeneous. |
