Disclosed are benzoylguanidines of general formula (I), wherein R1 to R4 have the meaning stated in the claims. They are antiarrhythmic medicaments with cardio-protective component, suitable for prevention of ischemically developed damages, particularly in arising of iscemically developed heart arrhythmias. They can be used in consequence of inhibition of cell interchanging mechanism Na+/H+ for treatment of acute ischemically developed damages. They are characterized by strong inhibitive effect for cell proliferation. They are suitable for reducing of developing of high blood pressure.
