摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a cage from the friction and the heat generated by a difference of the rotation between a cam follower and the cage by arranging a low-friction bearing between a plastic ring and the cam follower. SOLUTION: A low-friction ring 48, which contacts with a cam follower 14, is formed with a bearing surface. When the torque is applied to an accelerator 20, the cam follower 14 is pushed to a cage 40 by the cam work. The cage 40 is thereby forcibly moved in the axial direction and compresses a spring 42, and pushes a clutch ring 30 so as to be engaged with an inner gear 24. In the case where a vehicle is operated at a high speed, the low-friction ring 48 projected while riding over an end 50 of the cage 40 collides with the cam follower 14, and engaged with the cam follower 14 for low-friction engagement by the friction characteristic, and high resistance against the damage due to the heat is obtained. Consequently, the low-friction ring 48 protects the plastic cage 40 from the heat generated by the sliding friction engagement between the cam follower 14 and the low friction ring 48 of the cage 40.
