PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a layout character and reduce size at a engine rear end side. SOLUTION: In this cooling device of a V-type engine, a connecting pipe 18 connecting water jackets of both banks 2, 3 of an engine 1 is integrally provided to a housing member 20 attached to an end of the engine 1 in a crankshaft direction. Integral provision of the connecting pipe 18 with the flywheel housing 20 using the existing flywheel housing 20 or the like dispenses with a new connecting pipe by an independent piping, whereby improvement in a layout character and reduction in size can be enhanced.
